Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa began in 1961, as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
We teach God's Word in an expositional fashion, which is line-by-line, verse-by-verse, in context, thereby eliminating erroneous doctrinal building.

Calvary Chapelites are the very best Biblically taught people in the world, and need to know that there is an avenue for them to use that knowledge, which the Convalescent/Assisted Living Ministry will accomplish. The needs at these C/AL facilities are vast, ranging from Bible teaching to singing, visiting, showing love, reading, support, encouragement & exhortation, etc…

The “Baby Boomer” generation is coming quickly into the age levels of the Convalescent/Assisted Living population, not only as Residents, but also as people who could be involved in this type of Ministry. Healthcare is a booming industry, and this segment of the population is open to the Good News! I am constantly amazed at the lack of Biblical knowledge & laissez-faire attitude towards eternity that I see daily in the facilities, let’s bring the Good News to them!!
